‘You can mock me, but learn from my mistakes’ — Mandy Kiss

Mandy Kiss Urges Critics to Learn From Her Mistakes as She Starts Over at Mother’s Shop
Nigerian content creator Mandy Kiss has urged people to learn from her past mistakes rather than simply mock her as she begins a new chapter working at her mother’s shop in Ijebu, Ogun State.
Mandy Kiss made the remarks in a video after returning to the market, where she reflected on her experiences and encouraged people to make choices based on what brings them happiness rather than living to satisfy other people’s expectations.
“You are free to mock me. It is my fault, but learn from my mistakes. Live your life, do you hear?” she said.
She advised her followers not to allow public opinion to dictate their decisions, stressing that personal happiness and well-being should remain important when making life choices.
“Don’t live other people’s opinions. Your happiness should come first in anything you’re doing. Put yourself first,” she said.
Mandy Kiss also encouraged people to pursue things that genuinely make them happy, even when others disagree with their choices.
“Anything that makes you happy, do it regardless of whoever is against it. Live your life,” she added.
Reflecting on her return to her family home, the content creator said the support she had previously given her family helped make it possible for her to return during a difficult period.
“Thank God I did very well at home. That’s why I was able to go back there. If not, where would I be now?” she said.
She further stressed the importance of supporting and taking care of one’s family when circumstances allow, noting that the support she provided in better times became valuable when she needed somewhere to turn.
“I did very well, that’s why I was accepted back into the house. That’s why it is good to take care of the house when you have money,” she said.
Her comments have sparked conversations online about second chances, personal choices, family support, and the challenges of rebuilding one’s life after going through a difficult period.
