Speed Darlington Threatens to Fight Burna Boy: “I Will Jump on Him”
Nigerian music star Speed Darlington has reignited his long-running feud with colleague Burna Boy, saying he would confront and fight the Grammy-winning singer whenever they meet.
Speaking during a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Speed Darlington said he has no relationship with Burna Boy and would not hesitate to physically confront him if they found themselves in the same room.
The “Akpi” crooner also expressed interest in facing Burna Boy in the boxing ring, following his forthcoming bout with Carter Efe.
“Me and Burna Boy have no relationship. If Burna Boy enters any room that I am present in, I will fight and jump on him. If I win the forthcoming boxing match between me and Carter Efe, I hope Burna Boy will be next,” he said.
The latest comments add another chapter to the highly publicised dispute between the two artistes, which has previously spilled into legal proceedings.
JijiTunes recalls that Speed Darlington was previously granted bail in connection with the defamation case involving Burna Boy. The case, which stems from comments he made about the singer and his alleged relationship with American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, is still before the court.
The feud between the two artistes escalated after Speed Darlington made allegations concerning Burna Boy and embattled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, including a claim that Burna Boy had an inappropriate relationship with Diddy in connection with his Grammy Award. Burna Boy has denied the allegations.
With Speed Darlington now talking about a potential boxing showdown, his latest remarks have once again put the long-running feud in the spotlight and are likely to generate further reactions from fans of both artistes.
